The Roller family will be walking in the Walk for the Bear to support the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and we would love for you to join us. This cause is especially meaningful to us because of our daughter, Kennedy. Her journey through Neuroblastoma has challenged us in ways we never could have imagined, but it has also shown us God's faithfulness in ways we will never forget. Through every appointment, treatment, scan, and uncertain moment, the Lord carried us. He surrounded us with people who prayed, encouraged, and walked alongside us. We give all glory to God for His healing, His peace, and His provision throughout Kennedy's journey. As we reflect on all that God has done, we also remember the many families who are still walking through the difficult reality of childhood cancer. No family should have to face that journey alone. That's why we have committed to raising $1,000 to support families whose children are battling cancer and to help provide hope, encouragement, and practical assistance during a challenging season. Our Walk for the Bear will take place on Saturday October 24th, 2026, at 10:00am at Elgin Evangelical Free Church. We will be walking the parameter of the parking lot, and we will have waters, snacks, coffee, music, and activities. Whether you choose to walk with us, pray for these families, or make a donation, your support makes a difference. We already reached our goal! There is no obligation to give, however, if you feel led to give, you can support our team here: https://donate.bearnecessities.org/TheKennedyRollerGroup (All proceeds and matches go to Bear Necessities) Kennedy's story is a reminder that even in life's hardest trials, God is present, faithful, and worthy of our trust. Our prayer is that her journey encourages others to hold tightly to Jesus and find hope in Him, no matter what they face. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. We would be honored to have you join us as we walk together in honor of Kennedy and in support of families facing pediatric cancer.
