One of the clearest ways we can live out our mission of doing life in Christ together is by extending Christ's love beyond the walls of our church and into our community.

On Sunday, August 9, we'll host Church on the Lawn: a special outreach event designed to welcome friends, neighbors, and families from our community for a day of food, fellowship, fun, and a clear presentation of the Gospel.

This isn't simply another church event. It's an opportunity for each of us to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Whether you're greeting guests, helping with children's activities, serving food, setting up tables and chairs, or simply engaging people in conversation, your presence can help create an environment where people feel welcomed, valued, and open to hearing about the hope we have in Jesus.

We also encourage every member of our church family to prayerfully consider who God may be leading you to invite. Many people are willing to attend a community gathering long before they're willing to attend a Sunday service. A personal invitation from someone they know can make all the difference.

How You Can Participate

Pray

  1. Pray for those who will attend.

  2. Pray for meaningful gospel conversations.

  3. Pray that hearts would be open to the message of Christ.

Invite

  1. Invite neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family members.

  2. Consider who God has already placed in your sphere of influence.

Serve

  1. Sign up to help make this event welcoming and effective.

  2. Volunteer opportunities are available before, during, and after the event.
