As a church family, we rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. One of the ways we live out our mission of Doing Life in Christ Together is by caring for one another in practical, tangible ways.
Many of you know Deyglis Becker, a member of our EEFC family. Her relatives in Venezuela were directly impacted by the recent devastating earthquakes. While we are thankful that many of her loved ones survived, several family members lost their homes and belongings, others have been injured, and many are now facing shortages of food, water, electricity, and other basic necessities as they begin the long process of rebuilding. The disaster has left thousands displaced across the region and humanitarian needs remain significant.
Deyglis has created a GoFundMe to provide direct assistance to her family. Every gift will help provide essentials such as food, clean water, clothing, temporary housing, bedding, and other immediate needs. Funds will be sent directly to trusted family members in Venezuela who are coordinating relief for their relatives.
If the Lord leads you to help, we invite you to prayerfully consider giving. No gift is too small, and every act of generosity is an opportunity to reflect the love of Christ to a family walking through unimaginable hardship.
Please continue to pray for Deyglis's family, for the people of Venezuela, and for God's comfort, protection, and provision in the days ahead.
